Executive Chef Nobuyuki Taguchi

In October 2007, Mr. Nobuyuki Taguchi was appointed to be the Executive Chef of Sheraton Towers Singapore Hotel. Chef Taguchi brings with him over 25 years of experience as a chef, and has been tasked to oversee all culinary operations of the hotel, including preparing original and innovative cuisine, as well as overseeing banquet kitchen chefs and stewarding staff. He is managing over 80 staff and is responsible for the overall operations and profitability management of the various departments. His role includes continuing the service excellence at Sheraton Towers, as well as upholding the reputation of the hotel for high culinary standards.

Prior to joining Sheraton Towers Singapore Hotel, Mr Taguchi had served a similar capacity and gained experience at the Marriott Group, Westin Hotels & Resorts and the Hyatt Regency Group. He most recently served as Executive Chef at the Marriott Indianapolis Downtown, and before that held the same position at the Westin Indianapolis. Mr Taguchi was trained at the Tsuji Culinary Institute in Osaka, and has extensive experience in preparing classic French, Italian and other international cuisine throughout his career, which began in Tokyo, then traveled across the oceans to Guam, Kauai, Hollywood, Dearborn and Indianapolis.

Born in Japan in 1965, Chef Taguchi enjoys listening to music and fishing during his free time.
